If you are looking for a way to get your art seen, but have become frustrated with entering show after show, then consider joining the Art House Co-op This site offers artists fresh and new projects that they can participate in for often a very minimal fee, or even for free. Projects such as the many themed 2011 Sketchbook Projects are taken on tour, after which they will be exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in NYC. All the projects are open to artists of all levels, and offer a tremendous amount of exposure to the participant. There are also online projects that are offered, as well as a photo project that one can participate in. Currently there is a "pocket" project, where one empties out their pockets of un-needed goods, and send them in, and a fiction project. The fiction project has a number of themes that you can choose from.
Art House offers the artist an opportunity to share their art online, and allows exposure on their site as well. If you are looking for a fun way to get your art "out there" then this is a site you will enjoy.
