Doing it Daily

Painting that is.  For many artist doing a "daily" painting, and posting it to a blog or other site on the internet has become a great way to develop a following.   An idea format for this is ACEO or Artist Collectible Editions and Originals.  These little gems are a standard 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" and do to their rising popularity, it is now easy to find pre-cut canvases and cards of varying types of papers.  My favorites are Colour fix pastel ACEO papers, which are packaged with a selection of colors.  These little papers are coated with a colored pastel base, but will take any sort of medium including oils and even watercolors.  Mistakes are easily removed, or just painted over.  Other papers are available or you can simply cut some yourself.

Doing a Daily is a good way to develop the artistic habit, as well as a following. ACEO's are very popular as collector's items, and I have sold many on internet auction sites.  Just be warned, these little gem's are extremely habit forming.
